''The Good Night Chicago Show'' airs Friday nights on WBBM-TV Chicago at 12:35 a.m. following ''The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson''. Reruns of the show air on Comcast channel 25. The Show's house band is led by Daryl Stuermer, legendary guitarist for Genesis and Phil Collins. Other members of the band include Eric Hervey on bass guitar, Kostia Efimov on keyboards and Del Bennett on drums. ==History== The idea for the show originated as a website called Chicagoactor.com. Steven Saltzman would interview celebrities visiting and or working in Chicago. These taped interviews would then be posted on the website for viewing. Saltzman came up with the idea for a late night talk show after realizing it would be easier to interview celebrities in a studio rather than chasing them around the city. Celebrities originally interviewed by Chicagoactor.com include Jeremy Piven, Heather Graham, David Carradine, Michael Rooker, Bonnie Hunt, John Lodge, Gabe Kaplan, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Bill Kurtis, and Walter Jacobson. Interviews with Alec Baldwin and Tony Curtis were edited into the premiere episode.
